We just got our sample ballot/booklet on Tuesday of this week here in Las Vegas, so you should be getting the ballot shortly - I hope!

Re: Proposition 3 - This has been a hotly contested proposition involving Doctors vs Trial Lawyers. The fact is that MD's are leaving the state or not even locating here in the first place. My wife, an OR Nurse in the newest Las Vegas Hospital (Southern Hills @ I215 & Sunset) say to vote YES to back the MD position.

I'm not crazy about funding Cops by a separate 1/2 percent increase in the sales tax either. That is a dangerous precendent.

Definitely back the MD's... trial lawyers are driving doctors out of business all over. Malpractice insurance is going through the roof; even for doctors who've never been sued. I'm sick of worthless lawsuits (say John Edwards)
