Tim McCarver is a great announcer. He has a tremendous knowledge of the game and, although like all of us makes an occasional mistake, he has taught me many of the finer points of the game.

Sorry. McCarver is painful to listen to. He does know a lot of stuff, but Joe Morgan (on the radio) is leagues better.
