The celebrants at that affair were the few Arabs who were Iraqis. The other Arabs have not been, and are not now, generally supportive of the War or Bush. They now vote about 90% Democrat, just like the blacks.
Based on my personal experience as a resident of Dearborn, I think you would be surprised. Most of the Arabs I have interacted with are supportive of Bush. They are generally small business owners and they realize the freedom that they gained by leaving the ME and coming to the US.
Of course, I haven't interacted with every Arab, but the feel is pro-Bush. In addition, there will always be some contingent that is anti-American and their minds will never be changed.
