As we all know, it is the small business owners who supply most of the jobs in America. John Kerry wants to raise the tax burden on these business entrepreneurs.
My suggestion is to find out which employees are 'pro-Kerry'. Let them know in no uncertain terms, that as business owners, we won't like being taxed in a way that directly affects our company's economic stability, future growth and new hires. Consequently, any employee who does support John Kerry for president, is seen as a traitor and enemy to our company and will be first in line for any future layoffs or pink slips. Your vote may decide not only the future of this company, but, YOUR future with this company.

Dear kcvl,
In principle, it's not illegal to discharge someone because you don't like his politics. If you employ people at-will, you may discharge them at any time for anything that doesn't violate specific laws like Title VII or the ADA, and doesn't violate "public policy" concerns, as spelled out by federal and state courts.
However, many employers have compromised their employment at-will status in various ways, or live in states where the courts and/or legislatures have narrowed the scope of action of the employer, and employers would do well to be cautious in firing folks for their political views.
Although I'm pretty much a broken-glass Republican, I wouldn't fire someone because he voted for Mr. Kerry.

Not only is LiveShot hurting small business with his bogus tax plan, he also plans on raising the minimum wage by some ungodly amount (I think he mentioned it in debate #2), which really kills small business because they carry thr burdon (percentage wise) of employees at minumum wage.
This is America, land of opportunity. Want a raise? Work your @ss off like the rest of us. Don't expect to stand in line for government handouts.
The more he raises the minimum wage, the less people want to work hard, which translates to less value added for small business. It kills us all around.
