I can see the gay marriage vote bringing out Bush voters that didn't come out in the last election, thus denying them the title of "likely voter". It's fairly discouraging out here in the Northwest where Rats win nearly every important statewide election, but this issue might make a difference in Oregon that Washington won't have.

If the two states split, OR to Bush, and WA to Kerry, then I'll pronounce my analysis correct on this.

Hi from 1 Northwesterner to another - yes, it is somewhat discouraging, isn't it. Especially when a good portion of WA (and probably OR)is conservative, except in the Seattle-metro area (and my guess the Portland-metro area) where a lot of the population is. Hoping for Rossi and Nethercutt.
Also McKenna for Sect'y of State - so we can keep the Dims out of the elections (I heard on the radio yesterday that their trying hard to get their hands on this).
