Those who dream of Saddam's Return, no doubt are helping the terrorists. The remainder are the ones that count. But even many of those who support the terrorists will see it is pointless, and give up on them. The tide is already turning against the terrorists.
Executing Saddam is an important step for the Iraqis to control their country. They should execute him, then have a trial. The sooner they execute him the better for everyone.
I suspect a comparable number of innocent Iraqi civilians have been killed battling insurgents motivated by Fallujah over the last 6 months, not to mention Iraqi and American combatants. Not to mention how it has tied up our forces and given terrorist nations the perception that we can be defeated politically. Thats part of the danger Conway was alluding to.

Please get that jerk out of your knee.
I am reading all of them. I never denied the good things happening. It's plain to see the terrorism is out of control. Denying it won't change the reality. The multiple deaths are happening. And what I said does not preclude the fact that the terrorists are ramping up for the Iraq elections. Of course I know that.
See post #95. That was what I was responing to.
I realized that, Texkat, after I posted. But I think you also took some issue with what I posted.
Nothing. It's just the accumulation of deaths and the frequency of such deadly incidents.
The following is what I posted to you.
luvbach1 it is plain to see that the terrorist insurgents are ramping up their attacks on what they call the American collabarators. Things look and are ugly from some points of view. The terrorist and their backers are trying to do all they can to interfer in the progress of elections and to turn the Iraqis against America.
I want to know why these Iraqi troops were not armed?
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Jordanian terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's group claimed responsibility for ambushing about 50 Iraqi soldiers in eastern Iraq, according to a statement posted on a Web site Sunday.
In a statement on an Islamic Web site signed by a group calling itself Al-Qaida in Iraq, formerly known as Tawhid and Jihad, the group claimed responsibility for the execution-style killings of the American-trained, unarmed soldiers.
On Saturday, insurgents waylaid three minibuses carrying the soldiers home on leave and massacred about 50 of them on a remote road near the Iran border, Iraqi officials said.
The Iraqi soldiers were on their way home after completing a training course at the Kirkush military camp northeast of Baghdad when their buses were stopped by rebels about 95 miles east of the capital, Interior Ministry spokesman Adnan Abdul-Rahman said.
Yes, texcat, you and I apparently are in agreement.
Just a guess: a shortage of weapons?
Your posts arej great. Thanks.
Dear Lord, those photos....
They HAVE a reason: To expel the infidel. Just as the Kamikazis in WWII had a reason. Insane to us, perfectly rational to them. To win this war we need to think outside the box and not in B&W terms. The insurgents are rational (I didn't say charitable) and until we really understand them, we will be unable to defeat them even if we unleash the Marines to "crush" them. We've got to be much smarter than that, folks.
At some point they will get the point that they will just have to fight back or die. Right now I get the impression that they think they have a "get out of jail" card because they and the "Insurgents/Terrorists" are also Iraqi.
I do not buy the idea that there is a shortage of weapons anywhere in Iraq
