AIRING TONIGHT ON 60 MINUTES: IN HARM'S WAY

Even though roadside explosive devices account for half of all the war's U.S. casualties, soldiers are still getting killed and wounded by them because the Pentagon hasn't provided enough fully-armored vehicles to protect them.

CBS is at it again. These people are disgusting. I hop the Bush camp is ready to answer these charges on Monday morning because you can just imagine what the New York Times headlines will read.

We knew this was comming. If CBS could have gotten away with it they would have gone with the munition story. CBS is so damaged, this will have minimal effect.

This is going to be bad for Kerry. The backlash against CBS may seal it up....

Why don't they just run Rather for President and be done with it.

Kerry voted against giving the soldiers the equipment they needed to be safe, didn't he? Hmmm?

I guess fair and unbiased is too much to hope for from Uncle Dan and his crew.

I agree. I wish the White House was more aggresive and quick in their responce to these attacks. The missing weapons story came out Monday morning and there was no real responce until Friday - the pentagon briefing. Most people have formed an opinion by then.

CBS, AP and NY Times should have charges brought against them for trying to affect the outcome of an election. Even insinuating that it may happen, will give them all black eyes.

no one is listening to cBS anymore....and by now, most know that Kerry is the one that voted AGAINST funding the Iraq war after voting for it....Halloween parties and desensitizing to any more hit pieces will just propel Bush forward...Americans have had enough of cBS, memogate, lies by Kerry.....most expected cBS to try another hit piece for their man Kerry.......we're not listening and this will backfire....

Note to CBS's affiliates: Apparently you all do indeed have a death wish.

Yes, it is the same one. So, I guess CBS wasn't all that worried about the troops, or they would have shown this sooner, don't you think? Or, maybe since they waited this long, they could have waited until next Sunday to show this piece. The Ameican people will see right through this. Many people will be out doing the Halloween thing during that time anyway.

And who voted against the $87 Billion? What a great opportunity for reminding the American people that Kerry would not fund the troops.

AND SENATOR KERRY VOTED AGAINST THE FUNDING TO GIVE THEM THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT!

Arrrggh! Why doesn't someone in the media charge CBS with BIAS? Fox News' ratings would double if they did this!

FLASHBACK

Terrorist Saddam: "Mr, Rather, it is absolutely remarkable that you media girly-men
repeatedly betray your own country, even during war.
To get such betrayal, I previously had to gang rape a man's children and wife,
and then burn him in nitric acid or mutilate him by cutting off an ear or tongue.
But I got only a fraction of YOUR obedience, groveling and loyalty.
Thank you and that half-wit Cronkite, Mr. Rather.
May Allah keep you well, helping us forever."

Only a handful of people under 50 watch this ancient show manned by cadavers from the '60s. That's why they're sponsored by denture cream and arthritis medicine. That's why Andy Rooney and Mike Wallace are still sucking paychecks out of SeeBS on their 80+ birthdays. Only the demented Dems watch this pathetic liberal tripe, so no damage to Bush will be done.
