I think it's important to not be too positive of a win - that has a tendency to keep our side home, confident we'll win anyway. If it seems close, it's more likely that repubs will vote.
IMHO, it's a good thing he's being somewhat gloomy.
Make that two humble opinions. We just need to turn out to vote in droves.
