I'm Catholic, and in 15 minutes I will be in line to vote for GWB as will my Catholic husband...We're in UT, which is going Bush anyway, but still....
I'm so glad to hear it. Maybe it's true, there is a Bush base here in western PA. It was very discouraging for me, calling for the local Republican center and speaking with individuals in the course of the day, so many who claim they voted for Bush in 2000 but wouldn't be now. And then parroting DNC talking points they've learned from TV. Our town is predominantly Catholic, but also a big union enclave. We did go for Bush in 2000, a shock to the unions, so they've doubled their efforts for this one.
