While standing in line to vote this morning in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, I couldn't help myself and began talking (loudly) about my 20-something year old neighbor (Capt. Mark Afflerbach) who was killed in Vietnam in 1968 by VietCong/Communists.

When I was growing up, Mark (nicknamed Whitey for his blonde hair) taught me how to swing on a rope swing, how to catch frogs, and how to climb trees.

I will never forget the day (in 1968) when four US ARmy Jeeps pulled up nextdoor. The high-ranking military brass walked briskly into the home, and although I didn't know what was going on, I later learned Mark had been killed by an incoming morter round.

A year or two later, a young punk named John Kerry began running around the country calling Mark and others like him "baby killers and war criminals."

Anyway, I was standing there recounting this episode in my life. I ended by loudly stating, "I would never in a million years vote for Kerry, a man who considers good Americans to be criminals while getting his political support from cretins like P-Diddy, or Talk Shitty, or Suck Titty, or whatever his name."

Needless to say, the poll watchers asked me to leave .... but not before I finished my story and got a short atta-boy from all the Republicans.

Greetings Pennsylvanians! I am unfortunately from the State of the Hildebeast and Chuckie, so I feel as though my vote this morning for "W" will be cancelled by far too many "red-diaper-doper-babies."

I had tears in my eyes reading about the possibillity of a big Amish turnout. I can just imagine these simple Godly people going from door to door in their enclaves, sharing the extraordinary message they have recieved. They have heard HIS calling. The rural roads are clogged with an army of wagons, horses and young people on foot. The town people have never seen such a sight. Local media are sending images of this extraordinary event to the major networks. Some reporters are stopping them outside the poling place asking them, "why have you come and who are you voting for?" Everyone one of them says almost the same thing, "We are here to vote for our president Mr. Bush, because God put it in our hearts to do so."

Even the normaly arrogant reporters are dumbstruck. A chilling thought sweeps through their cold liberal minds - "could this be a sign of something very big in this election?"

From my imagination to God's ear and hopefully His heart too.
