HONOR THE TROOPS OF BAKER COMPANY

We are proud and privileged to post Baker Company on www.VetsforBush.NET at ...

http://www.vetsforbush.net/letters_from_vets.html

This is what this election is about.

Leadership@VetsforBush.NET

The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something to pay tribute to our fallen comrades. So since we are part of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one way that we could think of doing that is by taking a picture of Baker Company saying the way we feel. It would be awesome if you could find a way to share this with our fellow countrymen. I was wondering if there was any way to get this into your papers to let the world know that "WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN" and are proud to serve our country." Semper Fi 1stSgt Dave Jobe

My son is a Navy Corpsman attached to the Marines who just returned from Afghanistan. He may be sent over to Iraq next year with the Marines. I pray (Calling God Collect) constantly for you great men and woman serving our country in such a noble fashion. May God bless and keep you and your families safe and sound. We honor your service as you fight for our freedoms.

Marinews do NOT call B company BAKER company at all, and havent since the Korean War, so, this is a partial hoax of sorts.

I'm AF. Many of the soldiers carrying the burden in Iraq are Army. There are also Navy and other guys there doing their duty. Lots of different jargon.

I don't think Marine 1stSgt Dave Jobe considers this a hoax.

Whatever the phonetic alphabet, a Marine First Sergeant got his troops lined up, got a 'copter in the air, and they made this photo to honor their fallen comrades.

Incorrect. This photo was taken over a year ago and is no hoax. Baker Company

1/7 refers to themselves as both Bravo and Baker Company.
