Are you even reading these threads before you spam them? This is supposed to be a nice thread for the vets.

Grandad was in the "Fighing 69th"...

My Uncle was on the "USS Hornet"....

My father was a Marine, but he quit the family.......

That is why I joined the greatest fighting force that ever was........

The United States Navy.

AMEN! God Bless you and thank you for your efforts, not only in Vietnam, but your persistence to make a difference in America. Thank you for your support of our President. Thank you for the 527's. Thank you for standing up to the person who stabbed you, and America in the back and was responsible for extending the VN war and the deaths and torture of our GIs.

Combat medic 2/39th 6/31st 9th ID 1969 also served with the Mobile Riverine Force out of Dong Tam

Supporter of Swift Boat Veterans and POWs for the Truth and Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry

It isnt over until Kerry is brought up on charges and the whole nation sees him for what he is and what he has done to the POWs and MIAs and their widows and orphans...

May he lose his citizenship and be deported

I stood 5 hours outside the polling place, holding up my sign from the Kerry Lied rally, it reads, "VIETNAM VETERAN'S AGAINST JOHN KERRY".

I have to look up the numbers, but I got a LOT of positive responses, however, Kerry took Connecticut.

That's very nice Bach! I know I miss many of the South Vietnamese people I met over there. Wonderful people.

Your note proves that!

Most of us are just sorry that we weren't allowed to do the job properly and bring the end to the proper finish.

I didn't know you back then - I was too young (don't remember how young, exactly). But I'll never forget seeing some of you kissing the ground as you exited the plane. I don't know much about that or why you did that - but seeing that touched me even though I was young like that. Some things we just don't forget.

I never understood why we weren't taught much about you; I never understood it at all.

Suffice it to say that some of us are awake now - and we'll never forget. Thank you for your service to us then, and for your service to us now. You fought 2 wars - one over there and another over here. I think that is above and beyond the call of duty and may none of us ever forget.

That should be our new national motto - Never Forget!
