GAMEMANSHIP

Gamesmanship. Bush team floated 10:30 am to push Kerry, but Kerry camp said, 'Sit tight. We're talking concession.' Bushies then relented, naming noon to keep pressure on. That's where other scenario: If Kerry says, again, 'Sit tight,' Bush expected to go. If he says, 'I'm going at 2,' Bush will hold...

Finally John Kerry does something right for America!

His first step to becoming a good American. It's never too late.

Bush should come out not with a victory speech, but with a 'these chuckle-heads won't concede' speech. Make political hay with their political games. Make them pay for it.

And the best part, is that shortly after that speech...Kerry would have to concede, and it would further cement the totality of Bush's victory.

Make Kerry answer the question, "Who's your Daddy!?!"

Do you think that he will also apologize to all the Viet Nam vets that he labeled as baby killers? (/sarcasm)

"Humble in victory, gracious in defeat" is how the President commended the athletes yesterday on the White House South Lawn."

We can gloat..He is the President.

I agree. Say what you will about John Kerry, at least he had the common sense to realize what a prolonged delay in deciding a president would do to the country. In the end, he had the decency to do what was best for the country. I really didn't care for him as a person before (putting it mildly...), but he does earn some small measure of respect from me for doing this.

No Matter How Much I Despise the Democratic Party and John Kerry, I have to give them a pat on the back for Doing the Right Thing for America and bowing down and conceding the election. This could have been drawn out over the course of the next few months and turned into a real election fiasco setting the precedence off all future elections. (Like Gore).
So I bid a sincere Thank You to the Democrats and the John Kerry Camp!

And now that that's over with,

THANK GOD BUSH WON! Many Prayers have been answered!

Screw the Kerry and the Dims. There was never a plausible reason for them not conceding last night.

The fact is that Kerry couldn't win this one and we would have known that within two weeks....It was better for the country for him to accept that instead of dragging it out one more day...
This is entirely different than Florida in 2000..This time Bush won the popular vote by almost 4 million votes..leaving them without "moral authority" that the Gore campaign used to stir up his constituents.
