How would things differ if Specter chooses to officially announce his true party affiliation? He would find himself in the minority party and be stripped of any real power. On a lesser note, he would probably have to move to a smaller office too.
Honestly, I was thinking more about how the MSM would play this up, but after the results of Tuesday, it is apparent to me that very few rational people believe a word uttered by a Rather or written by the NYT.
On second thought, let Specter move to the Dems. I'll make a note to myself to not give any consideration to the MSM spin of any future political action. They are now irrelevant in the national debate.
