Father, I doubt there is anything more horrible that could befall a parent than this sort of thing. Though the child's suffering is now over, the parent's has just begun. Please wrap your loving arms around this man and the child's mother, and hold them tight. Comfort every distress, every voice of accusation. Give them rest in the knowledge of your eternal love and life held in reserve for all who trust in you. Bring caring and wise Christians into their lives to help bear their burden and help them navigate the wilderness.

Your promise is that You will work everything for the good for those who love you. It will take time for that to work out, but we pray for the rebirth of hope within these hurting ones. For in Your compassion is Your glory.

Having lost a son, I can feel for the parents, though my loss was different from this. Prayer Bump for comfort, and peace.

IN the Name Of Jesus, I bind the spirit of guilt and cast if off of the father of this little girl, and send it to the dry places to shrivel up and die there. In Jesus Name I pray guardian and warring angels around all the parents of these 2 children, to do battle with the enemy, that he not be able to rip apart the families, the marriages, or the faith of these people. Comfort all who are close to this situation Lord, with your everlasting arms of peace. In Jesus name I loose strength of faith, "for whatever is loosed on earth in Jesus name is loosed in heaven and whatever is bound on earth in Jesus name, is bound in heaven" -- standing on Your Word Father, and knowing You to be a faithful Father. Lord, touch and heal the other little girl, and restore her, in Jesus name, "for by His stripes she is healed" and "none can take her from your hand". Thank you sweet Jesus.
