Double dose of 'W' a tough pill to swallow
Commercial Appeal ^ | 11/05/04 | Wendi Thomas

Posted on 11/05/2004 8:06:45 AM PST by graceland

For the 55 million voters--myself included--who didn't want four more years of President George Bush, what comes next?

It doesn't look good. I'm tempted to price a plane ticket to Toronto.

It's a safe bet that our next is hundreds more soldiers killed in an ill-advised war.

National debt will creep further into nosebleed range. Supreme court justices, conservatives who will butt into my bedroom and my womb.

Right-wing court that will likely outlaw affirmative action.I could be on a plantation somewhere, picking cotton.

Click on link for more if you can stand it.

Another one. Just go!

These people make these announcements as if their leaving would inflict such pain and suffering on the country that it will punish us for having the temerity to vote other than they did.

<<<<<<<<<<<

I never thought of it that way but you are right. Don't announce it, just go!

Hey Wendi, just to show what a gracious winner I am I'll be glad to chip in a couple of bucks if the fare is too steep for you.

It's shameful that Clinton didn't respect the office!

You're already on the plantation, Wendi. I guess a fish really doesn't know that it's wet.

I have never seen a picture of Wendi. But if she's anything like the liberal bow wows I see shrieking on TV I doubt that any man, conservative or liberal, wants to get anywhere near her womb.

Just got a call from some one close to me that worked in the Kerry campaign in Boston. He is so upset that his blood pressure is just about off the wall. The thought of four more years of "W" just leaves him in a maze. I asked him about all the Kerry supporters wanting to leave the country. He said well as much as I don't like Bush I'm not going anywhere. I have an excellent teaching position here at Brown University (Ivy League)that I can not match in Canada.

Said that all the staffers had a great laugh when the first results of the exit polls were released. Said that someone was playing mind games with the hated Republicans.

From his further comments I would gather that the Exit Poll results may have been a Big Media conspiracy just as Dick Morris stated on Fox.

Due to the decisive actions of another radical, right-wing, warmonging, hated-by-the media Republican President, picking cotton on a plantation may not be much of an employment option.

Perhaps Wendi (with-an-I) should consider leaving....

Well, I don't pretend to speak for anyone else, but count me as one conservative who has no interest in butting into this chick's womb.

I suggest she goes to Fidel's plantation in Havana, cotton does not grow in Canada.

No, price a moving van, and the services of a Canadian immigration attorney.
