Actually, I agree with Tony Blair when he pushes working on the Palestinian problem. Look, we're America. We're big. We can multitask. There's no reason why we can't deal with that problem as well, especially since it's purely diplomatic in nature. Eventually we're going to have to tackle that problem, and with Arafat about to leave us this is a golden opportunity.

Nonsense. If it were truly diplomatic in nature, the diplomats would have solved it a long time ago.

The problem is that the Arabs do not accept that Israel should be allowed to exist in peace. There is nothing any American President can do to fix the middle east until the Arabs decide to live in peace with Israel. As soon as the Arabs make up their mind to live in peace with Israel, everything becomes negotiable and the diplomats can work out a solution.
