"yes, they both are...they shot their stupid mouths off and alienated a lot of people...maybe on their own networks they spewed their crap, but they were trivialized by the party...I'll take Dr. Dobson any day over these two self-important bloviators"

Thats your own ignorant opinion....

No, the left did not throw it's best punch! Kerry wasn't a punch, he was a wimpy pat, easily brushed aside and no counter for the smash that we delivered.

But, do not mistake beating Kerry as being the same as beating anyone. A decent dem candidate (OK, so I can't even think of one) who had some record of performace, some integrity and was not an arrogant extreme lazty elitist might have done better.

No one said that, genius. Their remnarks were twisted WAY out of context by a media that has devoted itself to their destruction.

fact is, they are loose cannons with a propensity to shoot their mouths off...just like this article with Falwell fawning all over himself for what a good thing he has done...what a puke...like it has been said and proven...Kerry couldn't keep his mouth shut about his "heroic service"...and these supposed 'men of God' cannot just do their jobs and be happy in the doing...they want credit whether deserved or not

One of the celebrated liberal haruspices of today (wrote op-ed in nyt) thinks John Edwards' "economic populist" message "resonates with a lot of people" and would beat the "social populist" message of the Republicans. Chris Matthews' numble mind wasn't sharp enough to question why he, then, won only one contest in the Democratic primary?

Jerry....don't forget the INTERNET and the pajama networks...people have educated their selves through this new media...I believe that's what's help a tremendous amount in winning this election for conservatives.

For people like Falwell to claim the Bush victory is because of religion is as wrong as the MSM saying it was.

I won't deny the religious people had a big role, but they were only a part of it. I think this election was an idealogical Armageddon of sorts, and our side won. The religious people get to the same place as the rest of the people on our side, just for different reasons.

You're right. These are reprehensible remarks.
But that doesn't make Falwell/Robertson the most despicable people on earth. They are still right on a lot of issues.
