Conan, what is best in life?

Crom smiles on us! ;-)

Contemplate this on the Tree of Woe, foolish liberals!

What exactly is different?

The fact that they are now COMPLETELY OUT OF POWER in all 3 main branches of the Federal Government, including the US Senate (good riddance to Little Tommy Daschle!!!!!) .... and the gap is getting WORSE, not better. I hope the left-wing truly continues to have a throttle-hold on the party for some time to come. To his credit Bill Clinton was actually trying to send them a message (as of Friday) that it'll be necessary for them to stop the whining and move closer to the middle as he did, or they will continue to be totally out of power. He's correct in that assessment.

One would have to be heavily tranquilized to be a Kerry supporter.

I was monitoring the DU board over the last few days (from Monday night through Friday) and many of them were talking about getting drunk, etc. so you're not all that far off the mark. "Pickled" from the alcohol instead of "tranquilized", maybe ;-). Needless to say, I was inspired to take a shower after spending any kind of time reading there each and every time....

"Amazing how no one had the first scintilla of concern about how WE felt in '92 and '96, eh? Now all we hear is how distraught and upset all these poor fools are."

Be fair! When the GOP made gains in 1994 the MSM said we "threw a tantrum like three-year-olds."
