Hell, the UN ran like rabbits in Iraq from the daily strife there. I ain't holding my breath for any soldier to want to go into this mess. Let them clean it up themselves.
Arafat has created this myth of a "Palestinian Homeland", he started the harsh violence with Hamas, and then turned them loose like rabid dogs. He goes into "summit conferences" and gets Madeline NotSoBright and Carter to believe anything that spews out of his lying mouth. His "followers" have set themselves up for this for years.
