Can someone tell me whether more of the red taxes go to the blue states or vice verse?

The blue states pay more in federal taxes than they get back. For example, the Dakotas each get back something like three times as many tax dollars from the feds than they send in.

That's the dirty little secret that a lot of people in the red states either don't know or won't admit.

He got so much business he had discreet business cards printed up so his clients could pass the word.

What did he put down as his job title on those cards?

I wish I could remember, but it's been over 15 years. Sorry.

While I might be willing to give them portions of California, it should only be the blue areas....

NO WAY! To the winners go the spoils. WE get the seaside beach areas, they're owned by us capitalist pigs anyway and rented out rapaciously to unemployed surfers (no offense, Greg Laurie and other decent surfin' folk). Put the Dlosers on an endangered species preserve out in the Mojave, somewhere near Needles. Then...ration water and issue drink tickets. Watch for an underground economy to develop...."whatever it takes" to undermine Communist thinking....

Lesbians don't gentrify much. It's something to do with the gay male aesthetic. Many of them like to make things beautiful: women, homes, etc..

I hadn't really thought about it from that angle. I guess you're right- gay men are pretty, well, vain (a generalization, of course). A lot of lesbians seem to go in the opposite direction in some sort of political attempt to reject straight beauty standards.

Billions of U.S.A. tax $$$$went into the "BIG DIG" in Taxxachusets. For what you might ask...so Boston could put their x-pressways under downtown Boston.
I think I read it broke down to every man woman and child in USA gave Taxxachusetts $400.

Isn't it ironic, we have to defend them in SF, when it is what they stand for (if anything) that the Bin Ladens of the world want to destroy.

Renouncing citizenship - Good idea!

I think someone should set up a program that would pay the one-way airfare of any lefty moving abroad and successfully renouncing U.S. citizenship.

True. But government subsidies to Western farmers cost a lot more.

I strongly suspect that, if given a fair vote, there are two or three western provinces of Canada that would vote to join "Jesus Land

Absolutely. Give us Alberta and Saskatchewan at least - maybe British Columbia IF they lose Vancouver. We could use six more Republican Senators.

YEAH BUT, most people like farmers, they work hard, and we have to eat you know. Boston did NOT have to put its' freeways underground. Right?!
