Dowd Says She's Going to Heaven, Conservatives Are Going to Hell
The leftist media establishment keeps showing why its hateful bias only helped President Bush get re-elected. The New York Times' common scold Maureen Dowd provided the best example yet on "The Chris Matthews Show" Sunday.
Dowd, stewing throughout the program about the people's latest rejection of the Democrats and everything they stand for and don't stand for, gave a bizarre response at the end when Matthews asked his guests to tell him something he didn't know.
"The Rapture is coming," Dowd told her host and fellow Democrat, and "you and I are going up," but "all these hypocritical conservatives" who want to tell everyone what to do are not.
Perhaps she was joking, but her was face was as sour and dour as ever. Matthews seemed startled by her oddball outburst and quickly changed the subject.
Maureen, please continue to spout away and provide further "assistance" to your party in the next elections. And stop the presses: Someone at the New York Times believes in heaven and hell?

You really think there's a possibility that some people here, at FR, think they will go to heaven simply because they voted for President Bush? Are you ok?
I have this on Tivo and this is the exact quote Matthews: Ok,Maureen Dowd tell me something I don't know.(He asks this exact question of the 4 panelists every week and it's a quick segment where they pass on supposed insider scoop)
Dowd: "I don't know,ok,I'll predict the Rapture is coming and you and I Chris are going up (points upward with thumb)and all these hypocritical conservatives who tell people not to do stuff that then they get caught doing are not. Chris: Ok, you're turning the tables. Be careful. (Smiling and not changing the topic quickly as stated in article--just went on to ask the question of next guest Evan Thomas of Newsweek)
I'd like to see a picture of Miss Dowd.

She looks like an old spinster who dresses like a 16-year old. I recommend that you turn away when they do close-ups of her face - scary.

Heh, heh... I'm also reminded of the musty old joke with the punchline that goes: "Okay, coffee break's over - everybody back on your heads!"

Maureen fairly deserves to be led away.
Limbaugh continued: "It's obvious Maureen Dowd hasn't gotten over her breakup with Michael Douglas who she thinks is a real American president but he didn't do anything but utter the words written for him by Aaron Sorkin and stand where someone director told him to stand and have his hair coifed by somebody who knew what to do, and then he blew it by running off with Catherine Zeta-Jones, leaving Maureen Dowd in the lurch. All she's got now is bourbon for mouthwash, and it's showing on her columns."
Dowd needs a really strong laxative.
Keep in mind Dowd's idea of Heaven would be to be forever stuck in a CBS 60 Minutes rerun sitting on Dan Rather's lap.
