"Powell is being accompanied by Tom Ridge, Interior Secretary Gale Norton, Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta and Housing and Urban Development Secretary Alphonso Jackson."

Great, sounds like they are going to offer them papers & an invite, directions, a free ride, and help with the rent.

"Mr. V. Fox is a parasite to America."

Actually the Republican leadership is the parasite on America. "Pandering to Pedro" should be their new battle cry.

Christians need to complain about this. Maybe that is the only way this administration would stop this insanity.

Why should he listen? He got their vote, won and no longer faces reelecton. Now Bush is free to eliminate whatever is left of our sovereignty with an unlimited amnesty program (that will be disguised as a guest worker program) and seal the deal with CAFTA and FTAA.

Say Hello to the New World Order.

Vicente Fox sure isn't doing much for Mexico --- yet our leaders can't seem to tell him where to go ---- they're so impressed by this buffoon --- they want him to shape our country too.

Too bad this is all in Spanish --- it's about the corruption and fear ---- skyrocketing crime and despair in Mexico. NAFTA and massive immigration certainly didn't live up to the promises that somehow Mexico would be fixed --- it's disintegrating fast --- but we're bringing it all here as fast as we can.

Isn't this just great. Bush was afraid to mention illegal aliens during the campaign but as soon as the election is over, illegals are top priority. Congress doesn't go back to work until next week, Nov. 16.

"Neither of our countries will be in elections next year," Fox observed."

So screw you, gringos. Your leaders have no reason to stop me from exporting my poor and illiterate to suckle off your government teat. Viv la Reconquista!

Yes it is --- and there is this:

No quieren visas temporales

"De ninguna forma será suficiente el que se vaya a hablar solo de una reforma a un programa de trabajadores temporales, porque eso no resuelve la situación de millones de extranjeros que llegaron a este país desde hace varios años", dijo Ángela Zambrano, dirigente del Centro de Refugiados Centroamericanos (CARECEN).

They have no intention of accepting the "three-year" guest worker program that Bush proposed before the election. Nothing less than open borders and easy access to taxpayer provided programs will satisfy them.

So screw you, gringos.

I just hope Bush remembers how his Mexican friends stabbed him in the back with the War on Terror --- you won't see that government helping out -- not even with UN votes --- with them it's just demand, demand, and demand --- but never offer or give anything in return.

[President Bush] needs to hear from all of us in protest!

I agree, Janet; and thanks for the ping, gubamyster. We need to secure our borders, our culture, and our language. We can assimilate only so many foreign people before we'll be overwhelmed. I think that time is fast approaching. Of course Latin Americans want to come here. We would welcome a few of them legally.

As San Juaquin Valley's Victor Davis Hanson says, it's Mexifornia already. This is big business. It's the DNC. It's Republicans. It's the little guy who wants cheap lettuce. And it's the Libertarians.

The old ideas aren't working. We're losing America. MAKE IT STOP! The power is in the hands of our government to end it. I hope Colin Powell is explaining patiently and persistently to Fox and friends that America is done with the 100 year wave of illegal Mexican immigration.

Also vouchers for hotels and restaurants to make the trek more pleasant. I hope they don't forget to bring their swimsuits.

I think we should seal the borders and give amnesty to all immigrants that pass a background check... Then deport the ones who fail the background test or who do not apply for one...

Keeping people from learning the common language of this country isn't doing them any favor at all. Sure Mexicans who never intend to assimmilate like watching 6 hours of novelas a day in Spanish --- watching television in English might cause them to pick up a little.

It's interesting how in India, the people are learning to appreciate a common language -- and that common language is English --- giving up over 100 dialects and separate languages so they can advance out of third world status --- but not the USA --- we're doing the exact reverse.

I just read something quite funny in the foros on Univision:
(some are threatening to move to Canada --- but in Spanish --- because Bush won) (will they learn French or insist that everything be run in Spanish for them?)
