A little late!!
ROFLMAO! now that's funny.
Tankers call anyone not in a tank "crunchies"...and it's for a 70-ton dayum good reason.

"by lieing = be lieing.
read twice, post once."
Yea, they basically depicted her as Sgt York there for a few days. I never did find out what the 'story' of the capture was.
We had tanks and surrendered? In your dreams, Sandmaggots.
Because they volunteered. Like it or not(which I do not), they want to be there, the feminazis fought for it.
Hard to see how we could lose three tanks off a column in that situation.
Both the Air Force and the Navy are cutting personnel a lot, and going with more and more civilian contractors. There will be a number of career-oriented personnel without careers, so the Army is offering these men and women bonuses. This takes care of the lower enlistment rates, and will avoid the need for a draft.
Why would tanks surrender to street fighting terrorists? I highly doubt that this story has any merit.
They surrounded 3 M1 Abrahms with what? Camel Technicals?
Three tanks each with 4 man crew plus three "Jeeps" (assume UAHMMWV) each with 4 man crew equals max 24 men. Non-sequitur that 12 additional men and women would be hanging outside these vehicles.
If I had a choice betwen fighting to the death so my family would know I died like a man, or surrendering so I could be tortured, humiliated, and used as a propaganda tool against my country, eventually to be slaughtered on videotape to the horror of my loved ones, the choice would seem kinda easy.
Ditto
"Speaking of Jenny Lynch, how much of her story was 'bull?' I recall hearing that the reports of her fighting were greatly embellished."
If memory serves, she ultimately said she didn't fire bcse she was knocked unconscious when the vehicle she was in crashed. I could be wrong, tho.
Well, at least we know why Terry McAulliffe has gone silent in the U.S. Apparently he has taken a job in the region, this time as a reporter for another opposition party.
thanks!
=O
Actually it were the small garrisons in North China that surrendered. The Shanghai Marines, The 4th Regiment, left Shanghai for the Philippines after the war warning of Nov. 27. Wonderfully described in James Brady's excellent novel, A Warning of War.
