I live in western MA, near Northampton, I have seen one or two here as well. Not common, but this past summer they seem to be around more. We have a lot of bears around also. Have pictures of one in our yard.

Excellent point!! Odds are worse than before the election,
on the brightside, the rest of us will ignore the State. I am over run by deer, beaver, skunk, opposums and I live 12 mi. north of the city.
Buy a gun, it could literally change your life!
As long as your life doesn't require "some Change" in the next 7 or 8 months!
My Son and my dog were almost attacked by a prevalence of Coyotes at the Cape in mid July.
