To each their own. I voted for Bush despite his immigration positions because Kerry was worse and other issues were more important to me. I also believe that the negative aspects of the President's immigration proposal can be fixed, especially by adopting aspects of Tancredo's guest worker plan.

I hope it can be revised through putting pressure on Congress but even if it can't, other issues were still more important to me.
