Canada Awash in Immigration Inquiries

The CBC (Canada's state-run news org) is taking delight in the multitude of requests from depressed Democrats to leave their nation behind for more liberal pastures. Quite frankly, I am disturbed by this. I sent them this message:

I find it absurd that some American Democrats, apparently unable to cope with the election results, wish to immigrate to Canada. I believe that it highlights some serious problems within their hatred of a political party trumps their love of country. It is nothing short of pathetic and merely validates my support of the Republicans. Perhaps you should also do a story on the flood of Democrats to therapists for treatment of "post-election syndrome". And these are the folks a majority of Canadians would want to fight a war against terrorists?

I urge any and all freepers to email this joke of a newscast and let them know how you really feel about spineless dim-wits unable to stay in their own country.

Seriously, anyone who would actually go through with this is by definition a loser and the country would be richer for their leaving.

There'd also be a slight political advantage - when they leave, a red state gets a little redder or a blue state gets slightly less blue ;-)

This is a horrible example to give to children. If your country doesn't elect the person you want, you should go to another country. What are they going to do when Canada elects someone they don't like?

Why are you disturbed by this? If these hate filled nit wits want to move to Canada then lets help them load up their U-Hauls! We don't need these narrow minded hate filled people living in our country. Let them go to Canada or whatever other country they want to flee to.
