The BOSTON GLOBE???
A writer for the Boston Globe with an ounce of common sense?
He just blew a job with the New York Times.
Way to go pal.
Where was this guy when Kerry needed to be exposed?
Jeff Jacoby has always been the Globes token conservative. He is a great writer. Do a archive search under Jacoby on FR. He has some of the best articles

Jacoby has long been the Globe's token conservative. Look up some of his past articles, any of his past articles. He gets muzzled/spiked from time to time, but he's been a consistent, articulate voice of conservatism in that paper.
Hey Kerry!!
The PLO has an opening.
Interested?
Back in 2000, he used a current internet pass-along as a basis for a column.
The Glob editors, while meeting at the RamRod Room, decided it wasn't properly credited, and
put him on unpaid leave through the last months of the 2000 election season.
Jacoby is the token conservative at the Globe...and the only clear-thinker there.
Last election, Bush vs Gore, the Boston Globe coincidentally suspended Jeff Jacoby for the three months surrounding the election on some bogus trumped up charges of impropriety. They just didn't want his voice coming around at that time. It was pathetic and it was then that I canceled my subscription to that liberal rag and I haven't resumed it still.
Jeff Jacoby is a very intelligent voice in that sea of left wing craziness but I fear he is on a tight leash most of the time. I'm not sure of all the dynamics but I know he has a young family to provide for.
I think you've been unobservant. The Globe has been featuring Jeff Jacoby's columns for years. Remember that he is their token conservative.
