This is soooo much crap. We are fighting this thing with kid gloves. We are worrying about civilian casualties and NOW I hear our side bragging about the small number of buildings being destroyed? Where is the Napalm, Flame Throwers, DESTROY THEM! Make an example.

What type of example are we making, what lessons are the Iraqis learning, if we go in now and rebuild it better than it was before? Pretty soon we will be seeing on TV, our infantry commanders handing out fists full of American dollars to the Fallujans for the ruined stink hole the called a city.

Burn the rats out.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

I'm glad you're not in charge.

Three thousand "insurgents" were in Fallujah. We killed 500 insurgents using air power over the last three months. We kill 1600 of the insurgents and take 500 of them prisoner with this ground assault. Than's about 2,600 of them total out of a roughly estimated 3,000.

To me, "what kind of example" we are teaching them is as clear springtime snot.
