Edited on 11/15/2004 11:12:31 PM PST by Admin Moderator. [history]

I am being sued for something that happened at the December 2000 Freep of Joe Lieberman.

JimRob has allowed me to hold an internet fundraiser to help defray the costs of my lawyers fees.

I am broke and thousands of dollars in debt, and depending on how much I can collect here, I amnot sure if I can continue or work to sign a mutual release if offered.

Right now, we have ended the discovery phase, and are awaiting the deposition of the man who accused me of assaulting him that day.

That charge is a lie.

The following story below is my short account of what happened that day.

Ya can't convince my old college prof's of that! LOL

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I am intuitive, but this time I would like to be wrong.

I am being overwhemled here!

God Bless you all!

(Psa 34:6 KJV) This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

(Psa 41:1 KJV) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

(Psa 112:1 KJV) Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

(Psa 112:2 KJV) His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

(Psa 112:3 KJV) Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

(Psa 112:4 KJV) Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

(Psa 112:5 KJV) A good man showeth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

(Psa 112:6 KJV) Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

(Psa 112:7 KJV) He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

(Psa 112:8 KJV) His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

(Psa 112:9 KJV) He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

(Psa 112:10 KJV) The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

Please consider helping out our Connecticut FRiend (and former US Marine) RaceBannon!

My husband "zelig" and I were with RaceBannon in front of Joe Lieberman's house in New Haven, CT on December 2, 2000 for this rally, and we witnessed Boise Kimber LEAP up on Race's truck -- taking Race, Tom Scott and everyone facing the truck listening to Tom Scott speak -- by complete surprise. It definitely appeared to my husband and me that Kimber was going to attack Race and/or Tom. Race held out his arm to stop him, as it appears in the photo in post #1, but Race did NOT "grab" him in any way. Kimber stood there with a big smile on his face with Race and Tom for just a few seconds - maybe a minute - then suddenly jumped off the truck bed. It was really odd...

Race has been a tireless FReeper who has been in the trenches for us as long as we've known him (November 2000), and well before that, I'm sure. Over the years, Race has traveled to countless rallies all over the northeast and Washington DC, standing in the cold and heat (mostly COLD though!), and his booming voice has been a huge asset to Our Cause.

Just this past Saturday, he traveled to Kingston, NY and participated in yet another rally, FReeping anti-war protestors: After Action Report "Not Another Vietnam" Kingston, NY Nov 13

I think they only take a percentage if it is a business account. I have a personal one and haven't ever paid for funds I received. Maybe that has changed.

actually as long as the gift is 11k or under from one source or 22K or under from a joint spouse gifting to said recipient then it is not taxable to the recipient nor does it deduct from the lifetime bulk giving allowance of the gifter.

You may give 11k to an infinite number of DIFFERENT people per year if you like and none of them will pay any tax on said gift.

and it does not come off your lifetime credit allowance for estate purposes....which is around 1.5 million this year and the death tax on excess estate is now about 47%

It all phases out in 2010....a good year to die if you like your heirs...lol

but then comes back the next year.

I look for W to make this permanent.

I am kinda curious as to what the removed post said though.

I guess from the replies you could get the jist of it by following this recipe:

3 cups of everything John Edwards said during the last year.
Grind it up in a blender.
Pour it in a bucket.
4 scoops of everything John Kerry said during the debates.
Pulverize it with a meat tenderizing hammer.
Wrap it in cheese cloth.

Add this bouquet garni to the bucket and then throw in some powdered lime. Cover and let it set for a week. Remove the lid and take a whiff. That should give you an idea of the contents of post #25.
