Do you think that a reporter in 1943 ever would have shown this piece of tape. NO. He would have cared about the ramifications to his country's war effort. He would have been on the Marine's side. The media should be severely punished for their aiding the enemy in this case. Who is it that did this?

Many, many German soldiers died in the allied POW camps, nearly all were tortured. Cities were bombed with the express purpose of killing the labor for the industrial base. The area under German control starved due to bombing. Draconian measures were implemented in Germany after the war to ensure compliance. Nuclear warheads were used on Japan. Areas with wounded soldiers and civilians were bombed on purpose.

Take what you can from this as far as what was justified, but you can be sure that these stories did not make the news.

What do these reporters think a war is? What the heck do they expect with insurgents posing as civilians/possum and the threat of suicide bombers?

I think we should quit all this holier than thou baloney and fight our wars like we should. No mercy, no surrender.

It makes for less death and suffering in the long run.
