wowowow amen!!!
"New York reinstated the death penalty a few years ago."
There's one heck of a chasm between reinstatement and utilization in NY, especially when you have wussy prosecutors going on record that they won't seek it under any circumstances. It'll be 30 years before anyone gets juiced in NY.
The ONLY reason his education level was mentioned is because we are supposed to pity him as a product of the school system. The media wants YOU to believe that society has failed this person, not that HE has failed society.
The Cats Paw (also Spanish tickler)
About as large as four fingers of a mans hand, these devices, usually attached to a short handle, served to rip the victims flesh to shreds and to strip it off the bones, in any part: face, abdomen, back, limbs, breasts.
Send this POS to Williamson County, TX on a change of venue. They would have NO problem giving him the needle. Heck, they may bring back "Old Sparky" for that crime.
He probably is a huge Mumia fan....
The prosecutor makes the point that this guy may have continued- how do we know if he has done this before?
Prayers for Julia Cook and her husband.
Instant grounds for appeal (at least according to the US Supreme Court). The animal didn't get to attend its senior prom, so its traumatized and can't be put to death.
Hope you enjoy providing 3 hots and a cot to this creature for the next 60 years, New York taxpayer.
Good question.
May God be with and heal this innocent woman and her unborn child..
The perp is evil and should never see the light of day again.

"He said if the victim does not survive her injuries, he will seek the death penalty for Gomez."
'Civ said, seek the death penalty even if she does survive -- as I hope she does.
Would it take you ten minutes? Trash like that usually shreds in seconds....
Valid point ... lysol isn't free.
If the victim doesn't survive injuries, he should be convicted for 2 murders: the woman and the baby, per Scott Peterson veredict.
Cook's husband is currently serving in Iraq. Gomez said he didn't know the victim, but was just was looking for someone to kill
And pretty soon the tables will be turned, I'll bet. I can't imagine a jury letting this guy off, but I've been wrong before. What a worthless waste of oxygen.
Will the media tell us if he is?
