While I did see some people who were obvously wounded, I also saw a bunch of people who were lying on the ground as if mortally wounded, seemingly without a scratch on them.
In some instances there seemed to be a little too much nudity for the subject matter. Some of the women with no obvious wounds, were having their tops taken off. It's unclear why. These were tops that weren't all that binding, only covering just below the breasts, with bare middrift.
Another observation of mine, was that when the shooting started, there wasn't the customary panic of people dropping to the ground or running for the exits, so to say.
In sections this was just very surreal.
This is either the strangest video of a shooting I've every seen, or there's something else going on in parts of this video.
This will be interesting to watch play out.
I agree though. The video was roughly edited and was shot by an amatuer. The whole story isn't there. Including the most important part... why did the French open fire on the crowd? If a bunch in the crowd rushed the line. were throwing rocks/debris. If some in the crowd had firearms of their own.
We just don't know.
I didn't see anyone that looked like they were faking. Go in the video and pick times in which you think someone is faking.
Your nudity comment is something else. They were being checked for wounds. The same happens in every shooting I have seen.
What is missing is clarity as to who did the shooting.
The police whistles indicate that they were trying to disperse the crowd, but I have seen much more angry crowds at Marti Gras.
Some of the shooting was full auto. the camera guy could not get a fix on the shooters. Looks like he tries.
The fact the reports last week confirmed the French were involved is all I need to know.
This one is going to cause them some heartburn in their croissant laden bellies.
Very correct ... Some of the this just didn't seem right.
Something bad did happen . DAH ... But video can be tricky.
