Many Americans know of the Boston Massacre where Red Coats fired into the crowd killing some. What few know is that one of our founding fathers defended the actions of the Red Coats and served as their lawyer and got them acquitted in a court of law.
"If the French did this, what's the explanation for them driving by so casually at the end of tape two, as the public looked on with no signs of displeasure?"
I though I was the only person reflecting on John Adams and the Boston Massacre while trying to analyze what happened in this video.
My original point was, I did not understand what you were trying to point out.
As I said, I am not about to make this a thread within a thread . . .
"no guns in the hands of civilians that were fired on at Kent state."
Right. Instead they threw chunks of cinder block concrete and tear gas cannisters at the Guard, surrounded them and chanted "Kill! Kill! Kill!"
Don't get sentimental about Kent State. The Guard was wrong for panicking, but the protestors were just as guilty - more so when you consider they were burning down buildings, assaulting fire men, taking small store owners out into the streets and beating them.
Its amazing how Kent State has become myth.
