In a season typified by lawsuits against manger scenes, crosses and even the words "Merry Christmas," a California case is taking the "separation of church and state" one step further

The liberal jihad on the American Heritage continues.

its on the front page if the link still wont work
Can't we do something about these freaks?
I am moving beyond the point of being annoyed to the point of being really sick of these people.
What is in the water of those wacky californians? This move is just too sick and one of the reasons Pres. Bush won the election. People around the country are tired of actions like this. Call me old fashioned, but I liked the real history of this country.
first try at a link, so if it doesn't work, here's the page - http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=41623
These people are nuts. As another example, a school somewhere on the outer fringes of reality won't tell school kids why Thanksgiving was celebrated and who the pilgrims gave thanks to. One teacher quoted in the article said, "We don't teach religion." I guess they don't teach history either.
Pathetic.
Just remember this: There are no athesists in hell. By the time they get there, they KNOW there is a God.
Typso ping, and Happy Wednesday!
A federal judge will probably rule that it is sometime in 2005.
I am so sick and tired of hearing the term "seperation of church and state". It is a set of words that many people think is in our founding documents. Sadly most people don't bother reading writings by our founding fathers, instead turning to mind numbing sensless books about things that titilate them. If people would only educate themselves a little they would see that the term seperation of church and state and the way it has been used was never the intention of our founding fathers. I wish I had the time and the money to get this debate out in the open. Maybe with Bush having another 4 years it will.
This is great..it will help bring their out of control idiocy to the fore.
I'm done being nice. Let the Cultural Marxists bring their %^$% on. I fight for God, The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and all that makes America what She is. God Bless America and all who have and will defend Her.
I am an atheist.
I do not believe there is a God.
I do see what a great society America is (was) because our society is (was) largely based on Christian morals. I understand that Christianity and a belief in God is a major part or this great nations history. To not teach that in our schools is to not teach history. Our kids and grandkids are going to grow up knowing only the filtered, edited and pc version of our history and that will destroy this great nation.
I aint gonna do nothing till I see complete unity on this side of the Isle.
And the quikest way to put an end to this will end up being civil unprising.
This is exactly why the evangelicals got out and voted, and yet the pundits and Libs still don't get it. They keep saying it was the gay marraige issue that brought them out. Well, I say that yes the gay marraige was a significant part of it. But, gay marraige was, I believe, the line in the sand where people said, enough is enough. We've been quietly sitting back watching the "seperation of church and state" being wrongfully applied everywhere the commie secularist feel they can make it apply. This is precisely why we cannot let more liberal activist judges onto anymore benches.
It is being rewritten as the "Declaration of Dependence", this will make it more relevant to the liberal agenda.
