The first 2 or 3 seasons of MASH were as good as an TV show ever -- right up there with The Simpsons, All in the Family and Married with Children on my list. BTW, where is Kelly Bundy?

Sorry, any list like this that does not include Felix Unger and Oscar Madison isn't worth the paper it's written on.

No Fred Flintstone? Also thought Data from Star Trek TNG should have been there. Same with Eddie Haskel from the Beaver. Samantha Stephens? Never was a big fan of that show but to me the first Darren (Dick York) was the more interesting character. From a similar show i would put the psychologist from I Dream of Jeannie (Dr. Bellows) there too. Perhaps Frank Burns should be listed as well. Finally, and i know the show was silly and so was this character, but i would have thrown Gilligan somewhere in there. I mean if they can put Steve Erkel on the list then why not Gilligan?

PS: And no Arnold the Pig? Ed the talking horse?? Lassie? I sense some anti-animal bias here :P

Eddie Albert's character deserved mention, that was one of the first omissions I noticed.

Wow, that is like doing a Top 500 Songs list and not listing The Cars or Rush. Oh, wait a second "Rolling Stone Magazine" did that last week. You are correct. :-)

I would need to include Vic Morrow as Sgt. Chip Saunders and no list of characters could ever be complete without honorable mention of Richard Jaeckel as Everyman because he was in every movie and TV show that was ever made from the time of his seventeenth birthday until the day he died.

Where is the Drew Carey cast?

How could anyone omit Mimi? She set a standard...of sorts.

How about the guy who played Gus the Firmean on "Leave it to Beaver"? Great character actor. I have to find his name on IMDB.com... and the answer is.... wow, Burt Mustin born in 1882 and died in 1977.

I see I'm not the only who has no idea who Carrie Bradshaw is. She's not the only one on there I didn't recognize.

This list places the cast of Will and Grace above Maxwell Smart?

Max will feel right at home as number 86. He knows it's the code number for 1.
