I think this pol gives law sets enforcement and military people a distenct disadvantage. I din't see Gomer Pyle and Sgt Carter, either.

Nah, they snip some of the wall climbing. It's not so much a matter of PC - TV Land routinely seems to cut out about 3+ minutes per 30 min tv show to sell extra commercial time.

On 'Batman' for example, they even do their own transitional effects, from one scene to another, with their own digitally created 'bat-logo,' which to the untrained eye looks unremarkable, but Bat-fans know it's just to cover what they have snipped. :(

This show MUST come out on DVD! :-)

Excellant photo! Yes Kolchak was da man way before Art Bell not to mention that the NightStalker (when it was still pc to be a stalker) was a cross between the X-files & Magnum PI, well before both of them were even concepts.

He should have been in the top 20!

Characters from another show that didn't get any mention at all was "Dark Shadows"! Also, how about "The Monkees", and charactors from these shows: the old "Scooby-Do" cartoon, "The Mickey Mouse Club", "Popeye", "Lost In Space", "Dennis the Menace", "The Addams Family", "The Adventures of Superman", "Brady Bunch", "Partridge Family", "Hazel", "The Jetsons", etc..

Wasn't a typo, and now I remember that his name was COSMO. Yeah, among the things he bought was huge cans of Beefarino which he fed to a horse which then passed nauseating wind right on George's future parents in law.

Someone mentioned the looks of Sarah Jessica Parker. I agree she is not good looking at all.

Why the LONG face? :-)

They are cast members of the first real Western..High Chapparal....where the actors were actually dirty & dusty and never took a bath....unlike Bonanza...where the characters all had clean...starched shirts! Or...Paladin...(which I liked) but his balck wardrobe was always so very perfectly ironed and so very clean.....

5. Oscar Madison & Felix Unger (The Odd Couple)

I like the movie best...but the sitcom was excellent too! Jack Lemon or Tony Randall...I miss them both! They were two of the very best!

I suggest Jack Lemon in "The Apartment"...and very risky movie in it's time.....

I barely remember "High Chapparel" or "Paladin". Bonanza had years of re-runs to keep memories fresh. The oldest shows I can remember watching with mom are...Gail Storm, My Little Margie and The Real McCoys because they were on early in the evening or late afternoon.

If you like westerns....but find the "Hollywood" in them less than real...look for High Chaparral....it was shot on location in Tuson, AZ.......
