The exclusion of any 50s Western characters (except the obligatory Matt Dillon and the re-made with Mel Gibson Maverick) is telling. The list of these shows, the ones with a clear right a clear wrong and no moral ambiguity is long enough to fill a week's prime time schedule....

Bronco

Cheyenne,

Wyatt Earp

Bat Masterson

Wagon Train

Sugarfoot

Lawman

Tales of Texas Rangers

Wanted: Dead or Alive (ignore Steve McQueen!)

Yancy Derringer

Tombstone

Tales of Death Valley

Daniel Boone

Davey Crockett.....

on and on and on....

As I wrote above, this list was put together by a committee of metrosexual Gen Xers with no historical perspective or curiosity.

Also for your list though not horse operas.

Gang Busters
Whirly Birds
Sky King (half an oater)
FBI in Peace and War

The shows may have been in B&W but there was little gray

How about Paladin, Have Gun Will Travel with Richard Boone, I loved that show when I was a kid.
