What is the fascination with Seinfeld? I really, really don't get it.
I thought I was the lone soul to have never made it through an episode. :-)
It's a very, very funny show. I used to wonder if you had to be of Jewish extraction to find it so, but I know too many non-Jews who laugh at every episode too. Try watching a few of the reruns on each night.
Actually, religiously, the show is truly anti-semitic. The rabbi is a stupid gossip. Jerry and his girlfriend make out throughout the entire Schindler's List movie. Jerry dismisses his religion at every chance he gets.
But it makes HILARIOUS fun of cultural Jews and is really a riot. Most of the characters that "aren't Jewish" really are, obviously by their behavior, like the Costanzas and Elaine.
They are all so selfish and their motivations sometimes jibe and sometimes collide, and the situations are genius.
