SantorumForVirginia.com Launches, 2006 Senate Assault Begins

Senator Rick Santorum (R-Virginia)?

It might be a joke for some, but at SantorumForVirginia.com it's become a rallying call.

The site, which states it is not authorized by any candidate, candidate's committee, or the PA or VA Democrat Party, has gone on the offensive with pictures of Santorum's Virginia residence, the VA house's actual address, and newspaper accounts of the recent Penn Hills School District controversy.

SantorumForVirginia.com even lists the Top Ten Reasons why Rick Santorum Should Stay In Virginia, with several key stabs taken at Santorum from his position in theToomey/Specter primary and his wife's uncapped medical malpractice settlement to his birth place and VA cyber schools.

According to a Whois.net search, SantorumForVirginia.com is owned by Chris Durlak of Centreville, VA.

Chris Durlak's site is durlak.com, where he says he works for Democrat Web wizard Joe Trippi. "Right now, I'm working part-time for the Democratic Media firm of Trippi, McMahon, and Squier in Alexandria, VA."

More coming soon...

I'm going to presume your intent is to let us see what the other side is up to, but you basically simply posted a DU-type posting at FR. That results in one dead kitten, and a very pissed off Viking kitten.

No, on second thought you are just so consumed with hatred for Specter (understandable), you have started up a campaign to throw Sanorum out to the wolves (not smart). You've gone to the dark side, Master Vader.

This post is basically a Democratic campaign advertisement and doesn't belong on FR.

These pathetic democRAT losers. I think we all see that Senator Santorum is their top target in 2006. And while he endorsed Specter (shudder) for what he thought was the good of the party, he has one of the best records of any Senator. I think Senator Santorum deserves the full freeper support.

Ted Kennedy's lived in Virginia for decades, as have dozens of other senators. John D. Rockefeller IV doesn't live in his "home state" at all (unlike Santorum).

I agree. Rick has some local politics he has to deal with. One is he'd better spend some more time at home.

Good point. More time at home would do a lot of good

Not sure how we got by dealing with this guy in the three years he was around prior to you.

In 1999, jurors awarded Karen Santorum $350,000 for back injuries she said were caused by the malpractice of a Virginia chiropractor.

All this is, no doubt, fueled by the broohaha concerning Senator Santorum and the cyber school issue here in Pittsburgh and his "residency". Seems as though the Dimwits have decided to latch on to Senator Santorumn spending most of his time in Washington, DC. They claim Senator Santorum does not "live" in Penn Hills, a suburb of Pittsburgh. No sh*t, Sherlock, NO Senator from outside of the immediate Washington, DC area "lives" in their STATE Monday-Friday. Frickin' morons.

Senator Santourm is a class act and has been targeted by the Dimwits for 2006. His campaign will be the nastiest and hardest of any in 2006 (even nastier than She Who Must Not Be Named.) You heard it here first. Contribute... Early and Often!

Just for thought and public discourse (of course)...

Santorum's utter annihilation of Hillary in last year's PBA debate has earned him a big, red bull's-eye in the middle of his forehead.

Wear it with pride, Rick.

Isn't George Mason also the home of our esteemed Dr. Walter Williams?

I hate that fake "classy" architecture they put up everywhere in Northern Virginia. That is one butt-ugly home he has in Herndon.

General I appreciate you getting this out but you have to understand there aren't any dems in elected office right now who could beat him, statewide.

I disagree. Santorum used to be my hero, but now I regard him as a sell-out. He had a chance to redeem himself after Specter's comment right after the election, but he supported Specter again for Chairmanship of the Judiciary Committee.

I would love to see Toomey beat Santorum in a primary.

So I guess they (the dems) are continuing the 527 smear ads. I guess they think it worked so well for Kerry, they would try it against Santorum.

Their precious Tom Daschle was a lot closer to "breaking the rules" when it came to residence requirements.

Besides, when a Senator or Representative has children, I think that it is better for them to have stability than moved back and forth every few months to satisfy some residence requirement. If Hillary could be elected as a senator from New York for gosh sakes, then the dems have zero room to talk.

I also think they haven't learned their lesson about how the voters feel about smear tactics, especially 2 years out!
