Actually, it has yeilded very little outside AIDS research.

Are you sure? My limited study of this indicates we found out a lot more about the immune system, for one.

HIV patients are living 10 time as long. Thant's why we have 950,000 HIV patients alive today. The story is we are still getting more new cases than we want.

More like 3/10 of 1%.
Thanks. I shifted too many beads on my adding apparatus and screwed it up. Hell, less than 1/2 a percent is minuscule. Given all of the ballyhooing, I thought AIDS was much more of a problem than that.
