This past Christmas was the first since my mother past away ~ as the Holiday approached I found the feelings of her loss grew and, though I tried to stem the sadness, I admit the idea of a Christmas without her was something I truly didn't want to face. It had been our family plan to all gather and spend Christmas at our son's home but I felt so blue I was sorely tempted to simply cancel the trip.

A few days before we were to leave to join our kids and grandkids a small envelop arrived and inside was a blessing ~ a much needed message I want to share with any who are facing a first Christmas without someone you love ~

May We All Celebrate In The True Purpose Of The Season!
