From ten years ago I posted what I could find on the subject.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1296633/images/flagfringe.jpg was the source of image at that time but I think that is gone.
We have political oppression. Sometimes we get paranoid and sometimes we don’t get paranoid enough. I was stating that what I could find was that the fringe was not a Federal plot when shown on a flag to the best of my knowledge at the time.
I haven’t thought about it or seen anything that brought it to mind in the last ten years.
In many of the replies it’s mentioned ‘The gold trim is found on ceremonial flags, to be used indoors and for ceremonies only.’ The last part of that statement is only.
Doesn’t this statement then mean that use of the gold trim is only for what is listed in this statement?
Thank you for replying to my question. I really do appreciate it.
Anon.
Boy—that’s a moldy old one, but I enjoyed reading it again.
Someone pointed out the flags at the summit didn’t have the gold fringe.
