Hi! I love Montana. I did field work when I was in college at the IU Field Camp near Bozeman. Wonderful country and wonderful people.

I hope to be a regular! I think that FR is a really cool place...with people who think like I do. What my screen name means is: I am a cowgirl and I am a cop. I liked the way they sounded together.

Hello to you- Did you ever get to try out the skiing outside Bozeman? That is some of the best.

I am sorry to see Kerik go too, I think he was a great pick. Why do you all think that they do not finish his ethics filing and FBI background investigation before they nominated him?

No skiing... I was there in the summer for geology field camp. Beautiful, beautiful country...Lewis and Clark Caverns, Calispell, Virginia City, Whitehall, etc. Lots of time mapping by myself up in the foothills and mountains.

Saw plenty of elk and enjoyed the views, which were quite spectacular for someone like me from Indiana.

From what I was reading the problem was one that occurred while he was in Iraq...his wife hired a nanny that may have been an illegal and taxes weren't paid correctly. As I understand what I have read he didn't know this until he was going over records with his attorney.

You should come back sometime in the winter to ski! It is a great country up here. I have never been to Indiana before.

I wouldn't mind visiting in winter, but with pins in one knee I doubt I will ever ski. LOL!

Indiana is beautiful in the spring...very lush and flowery. However, compared to Montana we are very FLAT. The northern 2/3 of my state are glacial till plains, and there are only small hills. I love living here, however. It is NORMAL. Come visit us one May...you get the best of our weather, and you can go to the Indy 500.

I always admired Richard Armitage's grit and toughness, forthrightness, broad scope of knowledge and "normal guy" persona. I wonder if he could be considered for this post.

A question for tomorrow. I'm sure you're asleep by now. What is Christmas pudding? Is it Plumduff with hard sauce? If so, my mother made it for Christmas, too. But she was from Yorkshire, so we were more apt to have roast beef and Yorkshire pudding rather than turkey.
