Thanks for the names. I agree, it will either be Jeb or a (presently) unknown. After what the base did for Bush in this election, they are not going to be ignored 2008 with a candidate like Guliani or McCain.

To be honest with you, I don't think Jeb is running. He's said it over and over again that he won't run in 2008. He's also young, and seems to be more of a wonk then his brother.

Guliani is not going to run for prez in 2008 either. He's more then hinted that he's going to take a shot at a NY job (i.e. governor or senator). I think he's waiting to see what Pataki does.

McCain knows his own limitations, and also knows which senators are probably going to run, I think McCain is getting more or less ready to ride off into the sunset or serve in a cabinet spot down the road. Look for McCain to back Hagel in 2008 in the primary.

All makes sense, thanks. I think McCain and Rudy also have health problems that detract from a run.

Jeb would still be excellent, but I hear is wife is not too hot.
