.....That hasn't happened in Brownsville since I believe 1989!

I don't know about 1989. It did snow in Brownsville back around 1960/61 though. I was living there back then.

It is sleeting here now. My DIL just took my son to work and our freeway shut down.

Same here 100 miles SW of Houston(moved here in 1989 during the snow!). We have 5 inches now(10:53 CST) and it's still coming down hard! Our remaining 2 children(of 6) at home are loving it and we are too. A white Christmas for 2004.

Maybe the Global Cooling stuff we were fed in the 1970's was right too!
