"However, it is questioned whether the court system is biased against men in matters involving custody and access to children when family breakdown occurs."

Just from what I've seen in my existence, defenitely yes. I'm no chauvanist, but I have noticed a trend in cases involving divorce, and it is quite clear that the sympathies in these cases do indeed lie with the women.

I totally agree with you. It seems that no matter how bad the mother of the children are, the court still sees her as the fit parent. For instance, my boyfriend's ex went and got a false protective order on him and admitted it on tape, as well as saying that she wated to be stripped of her rights and the judge didn't want to hear it, no we are trying to go through a different judge to get custody of the kids, the ex also just got out of jail. Why isn't the court system fair to men and why do they not look at the best interest of the children?
