That is where Faith comes in. Jesus said that it is more commendable for us to believe in him than it was for his disciples because we did not witness his miracles first hand. I guess it just goes back to what was stated earlier in this thread and that is if I am wrong and Jesus is not the Christ what have I lost, however, if I am right and someone dies without salvation through Christ he has lost everything and will spend eternity separated from God. I however fully believe that Jesus is who he said he is because the changes that have occurred in my life since I have accepted his gift of salvation.
