I don't think we have to wait for Mexicans. We have plenty of domestic thugs who are converting to Islam in our prisons, and some of them have indeed gone out and set up shop for AQ when they get out (think of the al Fuqra movement, a black group that has terrorist training camps all over the country, or the terrorists arrested in Seattle and Portland in recent years).

Gang activity makes losers feel powerful. This is the same effect that Islam has on its devotees, because being given permission by their religion to be vicious and have no restraint makes them feel superior to the law-abiding, civilized (and in their view, weak) society around them.

I fully understand your point in that radical Islam is targeting gangs to recruit 'self detonators' for jihad.

The other guy had it right on target. The City of Boston's left-wing extremists would rather allow the another nightmare to manifest, then work with the President to prevent Boston from used again, as an Islamic death cult staging area.

It's not that everyone in Boston is among the far left, but the radicals have wormed their way in utilizing very calculated methods gaining a strong political power base.

Money talks and that element controls a bundle of it through 501C-3's, foundations and other scams to rake in federal, state & city funds to further their 'causes'.

One of the paramount issues should be focusing on is the city's security, and the welfare of the public. Since the majority of the Left is somehow interconnected with non-profits they forget the tax payers of Boston have to foot the bills for all the foolishness the city has to deal with caused by them.

It looks like 9-11 did not wake some people up to the clear and ever present danger all of us are confronted with from insane jihadists more than willing to themselves up, as long a innocent victims are butchered as well.
