I, like many non religious people, who happened to be metal heads, voted for GWB based mostly on the fact that he is for standing upto our enemies and is pro military. The values thing, at least for me, was not as important.
Let's face facts, GWB won because he got a lot more votes from a lot more groups, including evangelicals and GenX'ers like myself. We need to increase both, not tell one group they are not wanted.
